A Spring Treat

Tonight we had a scheduled Board Plan that our Diamonds were scheduled to do for us – unfortunately, due to an injury last week, he was unable to fly out. Luckily he had gotten surgery out of the way and is on the mend and will be fine. So instead of having the plan cancelled, their mentors, the couple who basically started the Alberta explosion came to do the plan in their stead. And man was it an awesome night. They haven’t done a plan for our upline’s organization since around the time when Mike and Brandie Wagner went Emerald and the Alberta Market was firmly established.

The last time I had the privilege of being at house plan done by this couple was back in 2004 – 2005ish where they did a plan in my home for my friend since he was out in Alberta and I was in BC. This was back when I was involved in the business the first time and promptly quit in about a month after this when my girlfriend at the time moved out unexpectedly and I had to cover all of the bills on my own. Oh, how time and experience changes things. At that time I didn’t think anything of it. No reverence. No respect for the time they were giving up and just thought….well nothing really. I was so caught up in my own head I had no clue really that there was any value at all going on in my home on that night. All I can remember is asking people not to clap very loud at all as I was afraid my landlords upstairs might get annoyed.Nothing else. Oh….some dude accidentally spilled a bit of XS on my mantle. How inconsiderate!

Fast forward to tonight – these two didn’t need to come do the plan tonight. They easily could have let us plug into a plan they were doing for their own organization. Instead they happily volunteered to step up and fill the gap. When you have a chance to get in a room with a couple who have single-handedly lit a fire under a whole province (Alberta), set up over 70 couples and/or individuals to retire before the age of 30, and have created a six figure income outside of what some would consider “statusy” jobs (retired RCMP Detective / Crown Prosecutor/Attorney), you get set for a great night of learning – and learn we did.

A great plan was shown and an even better Night Owl training session was had. Its easy to see why these two are such amazing leaders and builders of people. I can see now why my best bud was able to go Diamond. When you get taught by the right people, you can make it to the stars.

Thank you to to our Diamond’s mentors for a great plan and training!
